The Human Microchipping Agenda

by endlesspsych

ETA: This is not a review, it was never intended to be taken as a review, words emboldened have been added where I felt perhaps it was possible such a mistake could be made. I never claimed the post was a review but apologise if anyone arrived at this conclusion erroneously.

This is the third of my blogs about the upcoming AV3, the second being “Trevor Gunn: Vaccination the facts” and the first my introduction.

This talk appears to be based on fairly standard conspiracy theory nonsensein my opinion .

The presentation will showcase the global microchipping agenda tracing the first microchip back in time to the current ownership of the technology. Going back in history, parallels will be drawn to the Nazi regime to totally control the populace through information gathering and revealing the companies behind Hitler that still operate today. The all encompassing lecture will reveal how world governments with Google, Microsoft and other hidden companies will utilise Census Data, RFID, DNA and biometric harvesting, Satellites, Global databases and emerging technologies including biosensor microchips to usher in a new age movement of accepting ‘chipped’ individuals. Fuelled by the war on terror with the ultimate goal to bring in a world wide web of digitised ‘online’ individuals who serve a mainframe. The presentation will also demonstrate how the Transhumanism movement is the modern day eugenics, repackaged and rebranded for a new generation. The presentation will also showcase the marketing strategies Verichip is and will be using to microchip every person on the globe including the shady deals to get FDA approval.

The talk is being given by the founder of an organisation called which opposed human beings being chipped with Radio Frequency IDentification microchips, supplied by a company called verichip, these will allegedly be used to catalogue and codify human beings just like what them nasty Nazis did to the Jews back in WW2.

The reason for this seems to be the use of a tabulating machine invented by Herman Hollerith was used by the Nazis to catalogue the Jews, what the site doesn’t mention is such machines, in one form or another, had also been used to catalogue the US census since the 1880’s. Without incidents of genocide or holocaust one might add.The rationale for starting by mentioning the use of this seemingly innocous technologys use in the holocaust seems to be to imply that the Verichip could be used for social ills as well as social good. It is tempting to point out at this point that the Nazis also used trains, furnaces and good old fashioned bullets to commit their atrocities. Where are the wethepeoplewillnottravelontrainwebsites? (Perhaps this link is actually one of them in disguise?)

Verichips do indeed exist.

VeriChip is the last Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved human-implantable radio-frequency identification (RFID) microchip. It is marketed by VeriChip Corporation, a subsidiary of Applied Digital Solutions, and it received United States FDA approval in 2004. About twice the length of a dime, the device is typically implanted between the shoulder and elbow area of an individual’s right arm. Once scanned at the proper frequency, the VeriChip responds with a unique 16 digit number which could be then linked with information about the user held on a database for identity verification, medical records access and other uses. The insertion procedure is performed under local anesthetic in a physician’s office. As an implanted device used for identification by a third-party, it has generated controversy and debate.

And certainly their existence raises concerns about privacy and security. Buy in essence they seem to merely be a high tech version of medical dog tags or bracelets common among serious allergy sufferers. The concerns raised by wethepeople… appear to be a heightened form of concern about invasion of privacy related to the potential for abuse by a corrupt and totalitarian government. A more pertinent concern, to my mind, would be system or chip malfunction which misidentified a patient and thus lead to complications arising if medical staff blindly took the chip at is word and treated a patient incorrectly – but that is a pitfall with any new technology. I mention this only to highlight my position as neither a proponent or opponent of microchipping. My arse definatly has splinters from sitting on the fence in this case. If you want a proponent of microchiping and cybernetics in general you could do worse then Kevin Warwick professor of cybernetics at Reading University.

Kevin has carried out a series of pioneering experiments involving the neuro-surgical implantation of a device into the median nerves of his left arm in order to link his nervous system directly to a computer in order to assess the latest technology for use with the disabled. He has been successful with the first extra-sensory (ultrasonic) input for a human and with the first purely electronic communication experiment between the nervous systems of two humans. His research has been discussed by the US White House Presidential Council on BioEthics, The European Commission FTP and has led to him being widely referenced and featured in academic circles as well as appearing as cover stories in several magazines – e.g. Wired (USA), The Week (India).

Professor Warwick and Dr Daniela Cerqui (a social anthropologist) have explored the political, ethical and social concerns raised by cybernetics and the Professors work. As near as I can tell they haven’t suggested abuse by the state as one of their top worries.

That is, for me, the crux of the matter. may indeed be a secular organisation protesting a new technology that claims not to be Luddites, despite many of the other groups that share their concerns being Christian groups who see the chips as a herald of the apocalypse and the time of revelation. Thats all fine and dandy, but if the technology exists now and if it does indeed pose a real and actual danger then we’re all screwed anyway.

Well for the simple reason that the technology, in fact no technology, is inherently evil it requires man to put it to some malficient purpose. If the government wishes to use microchip technology against us for whatever nefarious intent it’s likely it’s already several steps down the path to fascism and dictatorship. To my mind ensuring that doesn’t happen is more important then hand waving and panicking about currently innocuous tech that could either be very useful or consigned to the dustbin of history.
