How to be a Psychic spy: Derren Browns third event.

So Derren Browns next trick will be to turn us into psychic spies you can take part in his experiment on remote viewing here. For those not familiar with the term remote viewing wikipedia provides the following definition:

Remote Viewing (RV) is the purported ability to gather information about a distant or unseen target using paranormal means or extra-sensory perception. Typically a remote viewer is expected to give information about an object that is hidden from physical view and separated at some distance. The term was introduced by parapsychologists Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff in 1974.

My prediction for Derren Browns second event…

Right the jury, in my head, is still out on whether or not I think my prediction stands or some other method was used. I haven’t seen the reveal yet (for some unknown reason my social life appears to have kicked up a gear so I can’t sit in and watch the tellybox. Nor has my busy work schedule allowed me to use on demand internet based tomfoolery. Criminey!) but from what I have read I doubt the “fixing the machine” option if for no other reason then surely that’s massive fraud?

Confound you Mr Brown, confound you!

Hmmmmm it seems highly likely all three of my predictions were wrong.

Mr Brown appears to have used a method at least slightly different from the ones I suggested yesterday.

However I have, like any good scientist or sceptic, a new theory..

My prediction for Derren Browns first event…

Derren Brown returns to our screens for a series of events in the first of which he claims he will predict the lottery numbers of Wednesdays draw correctly just minutes before the draw.

This post intends to look at some of the ways he could achieve this and some people, even though it is only idle speculation, may find reading on spoils their enjoyment of the show and the trick.
